2017 ALL AMERICAN MARATHON & MIKE-TO-MIKE HALF MARATHON

SUNDAY, MARCH 26,2017
FAYETTEVILLE, NC

 

The All American Marathon and Mike-to-Mike Half Marathon will start in downtown Fayetteville, NC, at Festival Park. Racers will run up Ray Avenue to Hay Street, where they will run through the heart of historic downtown Fayetteville, past the Market House. The route will then take runners up past Veterans Park and the Airborne and Special Operations Museum, which is home to the historic Iron Mike Statue. Runners will continue running up Morganton Road through the Historic Haymount District of Fayetteville, traveling rolling hills until reaching the All American Expressway.

For Half-Marathoners, the race course will run approximately 2 miles on Fort Bragg, via the All American Expressway. Half-Marathoners will exit the All American Expressway onto Normandy Drive and run to finish the race at the Main Post Parade Field, with scenic views of Fort Bragg's replica Iron Mike Statue.

For Full-Marathoners, after running on the All American Expressway for about 4 miles, racers will enter the Fort Bragg Installation on Gruber Road. The race course will then lead runners past the home of the 82nd Airborne Division and past Pope Army Airfield. Marathoners will finish their course with scenic views of FORSCOM Headquarters and past Fort Bragg's Iron Mike statue, finishing at the Main Post Parade Field.

The All American 5K starts and ends on Fort Bragg.  Packet pick-up and The Health and Fitness Expo will be held at the Crown Expo Center on March 25, 2017, from 8:00am-8:00pm. There will be no race day packet pick-up.


ACCESS TO FORT BRAGG
All registered athletes wearing a race bib on course will be granted access to Fort Bragg during their marathon & half marathon races.

If you're not a DOD ID card holder & wish to enter Fort Bragg before March 26, 2017, you must go through the Automated Installation Entry (AIE) 
pass process below.

Personnel without valid Department of Defense issued identification requesting access to the Fort Bragg Military Reservation to participate in or view the All American Marathon on March 26, 2017, are highly encouraged to apply in advance for an AIE pass for the day of the marathon. AIE passes can be obtained at the All-American Welcome Center which is open 24/7 and is located at the All American Freeway Access Control Point (ACP).

RACE DAY: Special Event Access
On the day of the marathon, those who have not applied for, or received an AIE pass will be directed to the All American ACP, the Randolph ACP (Randolph Street and Bragg Boulevard), the Chicken Road ACP, and/or the Longstreet Road ACP. Vehicle and contents may be subject to search. It is highly recommended that plenty of time be allowed as traffic may become congested.

Make sure to:

  *   Carry your valid government photo ID such as a drivers license
  *   Have the current registration for any vehicle entering Fort Bragg
  *   Be prepared for a vehicle inspection before post access is granted at the ACP

ALL AMERICAN MARATHON
  • Official race start time is 7 am.

  • All runners who complete the race within the 7 hour time limit will receive a finishers medal.


  • Official race start time is 7 am.

  • All runners who complete the race within the 4 hour time limit will receive a finishers medal.


ALL AMERICAN 5K
  • Official race start time is 7:30 am.

  • All registered participants will receive a t-shirt and 5k medal.
