In November of 2010, The Fayetteville Observer created a map highlighting both "in the works" and "pending" road projects throughout Cumberland County thoughout the next 10 years. The map shows all the major projects, including the work on I-295,  which will eventually evolve into the outer loop around our community.

Construction is currently underway on  a 1.5-mile stretch of I-295 that connects Bragg Blvd to Murchison Road. Thiis will be completed in 2014.  

Eventually, Bragg Blvd. on Fort Bragg will be closed and civilians will access Spring Lake via a widened Murchison Road.
