The Fayetteville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau maintains an image bank of color slides and digital images and various videos. These images and videos are provided at no cost for media, publicity and convention and leisure travel promotion in Fayetteville and Cumberland County. Requests outside of these parameters will be charged a usage fee by the photographer or videographer.
Under the provision that the images/videos will not be used for profit generating purposes, or placed on items sold, requests for the following will be granted:
- International, national, regional and local media including newspaper, magazine, newsletter, book, television and web site representatives (editorial use only) to promote Fayetteville and Cumberland County as a convention and leisure tourist destination. Independent travel writers may use images as well.
- Travel agencies and group tour operators for brochures and other collateral materials promoting the city to attendees and customers.
- Convention and meeting planners for collateral, registration and attendancebuilding materials, which promote Fayetteville and Cumberland County.
- Unique situations as approved by the FACVB CEO and/or Board of Directors.
The following guidelines are to be adhered to while FACVB images/videos are on loan:
- It is understood that the copyright on each image/video reproduced should read identical to that as noted on the FACVB Image CD or Video.
- It is understood that the image/video must not be loaned, syndicated, or used for advertising or any other purposed except as indicated in this usage agreement.
- Images may be used on the cover of a publication only if a feature story supports the cover image and is clearly identified on the cover.
- The image/video will not be altered, and shall remain the property of the FACVB.
- The FACVB requires a photo credit which reads "courtesy of www.VisitFayettevilleNC.com"
- In exchange for the use of Fayetteville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau images/videos, we request
that you send two copies of the article, brochure or collateral materials created or a link to your website
