The purpose of the Cultural Connections Task Force is to advise and make recommendations to the Fayetteville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (FACVB) on matters pertaining to the development and implementation of the Cultural Heritage Tourism Development Plan.

The mission of Cultural Connections is to:

  • Establish and develop a shared vision for the region.
  • Strengthen partnerships to preserve, promote and educate
  • Create and provide access to resources and programs for stewardship of our culture.
  • Enhance and develop historic sites and landscapes.
  • Utilize culture and heritage to stimulate economic development through sustainable tourism practices.
