CULTURAL CONNECTIONS The purpose of Cultural Connections is to advise and make recommendations to the Fayetteville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (FACVB) on matters pertaining to the development and implementation of the Cultural Heritage Tourism Development Plan. The FACVB Board of Directors has the final say over fiscal and program decisions that impact the FACVB. The mission of Cultural Connections is to:
- Establish and develop a shared vision for the region
- Strengthen partnerships to preserve, promote and educate
- Create and provide access to resources and programs for stewardship of our culture
- Enhance and develop historic sites and landscapes
- Utilize culture and heritage to stimulate economic development
