During NC Beer Month, Dirtbag Ales will be releasing a Firkin/CASK-conditioned ale every Friday night. These ales will offer a full range of tasting experiences--from a Belgian Wit, aged with blood orange and wild hibiscus flowers, to the Jalapeno Business, aged with honey and chipotle. Along with the great brews, you can also expect to find a different food truck onsite each night, feeding the crowds. These weekly events offer a fantastic excuse to stretch your beer palate in celebration of #NCBeerMonth.

City Market at the Museum

Fayetteville Area Transportation and Local History Museum

The City Market at the Museum is a farmers' and crafters' market in the heart of Downtown Fayetteville. The market is operated by the Fayetteville Area Transportation and Local History Museum, and meets on the museum grounds every Saturday morning. Locally grown vegetables, fruit, eggs, honey, and other farm products are offered for sale. These seasonal offerings--along with plants, flowers, coffee, pottery, tea, soap, candles, jewelry, knitted goods, and other handcrafted products--may be purchased. The main market season runs from April through December, but a number of vendors appear year-round.

Trail Sisters Hike

The Trail Sisters Hike is aimed at introducing women to the fun and benefits of hiking. Dress in layers for the weather and wear hiking boots or sturdy athletic shoes. If you bring your dog, make sure it is on a leash and socialized. Then join Ranger Bowers as she leads a 2-mile nature hike through the long leaf pine ecosystem. Experience the unique beauty of the Sandhills. Meet in front of the Welcome Center. Program will be cancelled if it rains or if other weather conditions make the program unsuitable; if in doubt, call the park's main office.

Families can learn from their farmers and begin to connect with how their food is produced. Market-goers will enjoy shopping for locally grown produce, baked goods, hand-crafted items, artwork and much more. Along with the brewery's selection of craft beers, a kids' playground, a dog park and food trucks will also keep everyone in the family entertained and fed well.


Note: This event will take place every Sunday (except for Mother's Day and Father's Day) at Dirtbag Ales' brand-new brewery, located at 5423 Corporation Drive, Hope Mills. The last day of market season will be on October 28, 2018.
