We Sing to Experience

Haymount United Methodist Church
7:30 p.m.

Join the Cumberland Oratorio Singers (COS), in their 26th season, with their offering of "We Sing to Experience." We sing in a choir to experience different things — empathy, compassion, emotion, language, a sense of community, and teamwork. We also sing to experience the formalist musical qualities in works — melody, harmony, progression, phrasing, and dynamics. As choirs form repertoires, they should sing certain works to gain the experience and joy of singing works from musical masters. The Spring Concert is to be dedicated to choir works every choir should experience, especially those works created by musical masters, and grouped in order of musical periods for educational application.

Event Admission: $27 (Free for Students)
