The purpose of this non-profit organization of art enthusiasts is to encourage self-expression through the visual arts, and to foster awareness, appreciation and artistic development through educational programs for the residents of Fayetteville and the surrounding counties.

Enjoy wonderful student artwork at the Rosenthal Art Gallery located at Fayetteville State University.

Curated by the Fayetteville Museum of Art, Gallery 208 highlights the art of North Carolina artists with rotating exhibits year round. Outdoor sculpture also on exhibit.

Built about 1830 and restored in 1986, it features exhibits, paintings, sculpture and mixed-media works by Methodist University art faculty and students.  It was originally built for Charles Peter Mallet, a textile mill owner whose father served in the Revolutionary War and acquired the property as early as 1767.

Formerly the old site of a United States Post Office and a public library, this building now houses the Arts Council.  The Arts Council Galleries feature local and regional artists.  The group hosts numerous free art events for the community and visitors alike such as monthly Fourth Friday & Market Days events, the annual International Folk Festival in September, A Dickens Holiday during the holiday season, and other visual art exhibitions.
