Found this one June 12, 2010 as I begin the Greater Fayetteville GPS Trail Trek. Thanks for setting this up. And to all, welcome to Fayetteville.
Found this yesterday. We actually wandered off track into the cemetery on Cool Springs and found all the Civil War and Revolutionary War vets. Went back and finished the trail today!
We biked to 6 of the locations, only found 2 caches though. One was "this Person and Cool Spring" and the other was "beneath the raven's perch". All we found in the "shrub facing the maiden" was a 6 pack of Bud Lite!! We looked and looked "behind an oval in a square" but couldn't find a cache (any other clues that will help us narrow down which shrubs/bushes to look behind?). We think the one "in a park under ivy...behind switches" is missing altogether found a perfect hiding spot but nothing was there. It was a lot of fun. We would do it again if we were certain each cache was really there.
Holmes Family: Thank you so much for the comments. I will go out and check the caches you mentioned. I have some spare boxes already prepared. If I can't find the boxes, I will replace them by Friday afternoon. So glad you had fun, but apologize that some of the caches were MIA. Make sure to find us on Facebook too- I will update all our fans as well.
While down here from Michigan visiting our daughter & family, we thought this GPS Trail Trek sounded like a fun outing. So, off we went! As with the Holmes Family, we also found "This Person and Cool Spring" and Beneath the Raven's Perch". However, at the "Shrub Facing the Maiden" we found a partial 5th of vodka instead of the cache box. And at the "With a view of the river, sounds you may hear" we did not find the box. Great place for a cache though. (2 out of 4...not bad.) Had a great time, got to see this beautiful town, plus did a quick tour of the Arsenol Park. If we ever make it back down here again, we'll finish off the trek. Thanks for a great time
Found this one on 5-15-11. Couldn't find #10 and we looked in every bush around the library. Found tons of empty beer bottles (and even some full ones). Found #6 also.

This truely was a great family day. We laughed so hard as we got on our hands and knees for the first cache and yelled for joy each time we found another!
