Honoring K-9 Veterans




 

Fayetteville, NC – Each Memorial Day, the Special Operations Forces (SOF) K9 Memorial Foundation and the Airborne & Special Operations Museum (ASOM) Foundation hold a K9 Memorial Ceremony near “Constant Vigilance”, the world’s first memorial to SOF K9s killed in the line of duty. The 2017 ceremony will be held on Monday, May 29th at 12 noon on the grounds of the ASOM in Fayetteville.

Soccer Legend Mia Hamm and others play Force Invitational Golf Tourney


On Friday, May 19, the Fayetteville Soccer Club (FSC) members and staff change out their cleats for spikes and hit the links with some special guests.  FSC is honored to welcome some of soccer’s greatest women players to the tournament- Mia Hamm, Kristine Lilly and Tisha Venturini Hoch. Play begins following a 12 p.m. lunch at King’s Grant Golf and Country Club.
