Historical Sites

Some of the most important events in America’s history took place in Cumberland County. From General Sherman’s infamous march to Babe Ruth’s first home run, our community is filled with points of archival interest.

Guided Fort Bragg Tours

Cumberland County provides a rare opportunity for groups to experience a rich military history and explore state of the art U.S. military operations at one of the few military installations that allows public access. Tours are for pre-arranged groups only, Tuesday-Thursday.
