Airborne & Special Operations Museum

One of the country’s most prestigious military museums next to the Smithsonian, ASOM features hundreds of rare and significant artifacts, life-size dioramas, audio and visual displays, and a motion simulator.

Heroes Homecoming

In 2011, Fayetteville created Heroes Homecoming as a way of showing all veterans that we remember and appreciate their courage, their sacrifice and everything they’ve done to defend our freedom. In November 2012, Fayetteville honored Iraq veterans. In November 2013, Fayetteville will be honoring our Korean veterans. Cast members from M*A*S*H will also be in town for the events.

Clay Target Center

Host to a number of specialty tournaments, including the Armed Forces Skeet Championship and the U.S. Open Skeet Shooting Championship, this archery and clay shooting range features 12 competition level skeet fields & 6 fields overlaid with trap.

Army’s Army

The Army’s Army, headquartered in Cumberland County, is the world's only volunteer organization of citizens and businesses who've pledged their moral, physical and spiritual support to those in the military.

NC Veterans Park

Browse the sculptures, monuments and visitors center at NC’s first state park dedicated to military veterans. Here, the Oath of Service Wall features bronze hand castings of 100 veterans from each NC county.
