Fayetteville Area Hotel Ranked Number 3 in TripAdvisor’s List of Top 10 Highest-Rated Green Hotels in U.S.
Just in time for Earth Day, Hilton Garden Inn Fayetteville/Fort Bragg recognized as one of country’s most eco-friendly accommodations
The Fayetteville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (FACVB) today announced the Hilton Garden Inn Fayetteville/Fort Bragg was named number 3 on TripAdvisor’s list of the 10 highest-rated GreenLeaders™ hotels in the U.S. The list was based on properties that have achieved the peak “Platinum” status in the TripAdvisor GreenLeaders™ program, and are the most popular with travelers according to the TripAdvisor Popularity Index™.
Located in the heart of Cumberland County, the Hilton Garden Inn Fayetteville/Fort Bragg, which received a 4.5 out of 5 rating on TripAdvisor, is a 104-room hotel that carefully monitors its carbon footprint. In addition to using energy efficient appliances and lighting, the landscaping surrounding the eco-conscious property was designed to be self-sustaining and is irrigated using rainwater collected on the roof. One TripAdvisor reviewer comments that the hotel is “…very friendly and it appears to be a strong advocate of environmental practices.”
