Help Hope Mills Honor its WWII Heroes

Vets to be recognized November 6th on “Greatest Generation Day”

Hope Mills, NC   - As part of Heroes Homecoming,veterans with roots in Hope Mills will be recognized November 6th during a “Greatest Generation Day” during a ceremony at Hope Mills Veterans Memorial.   If you know of any WWII Veteran (living or deceased) with roots in Hope Mills, please contact one of the people listed below. Names are accepted through October 17th.

During the “Greatest Generation Day” ceremony, dignitaries will place one flag for each WWII veteran and Hope Mills Veterans Memorial Park. Each flag will have a name of the WWII Veteran and branch of service.  These flags will stay up through Hope Mills’ Veterans Day ceremony on November 11th.

Greatest Generation Day is one of many events that are part of Heroes Homecoming IV, which honors WWII Veterans. For more information on Heroes Homecoming, visit www.HeroesHomecomng.com .
