Spring Lake, NC   - Fort Bragg Clay Target center, one of the largest shooting facilities in North Carolina, is hosting five North Carolina State Skeet Association events in 2018.

The first, the Little River Open Skeet Tournament happened March 16-18.

Upcoming Events:

April 20-22 / John Scott “Azalea” Open Skeet Tournament

July 6-8 / Paratrooper Open Skeet Tournament

July 27-29 / Zone 4 Skeet Championships

September 14-16 / North Carolina Closed Skeet Championships

Each tournament starts Friday afternoon with Doubles Championships, including 12 and 20 gauge events. It continues Saturday with 28 gauge events and ends Sunday with 410 bore events.  Each shoot is a registered National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA) tournament and is conducted according to NSSA rules.

Contestants from around North Carolina and neighboring states will travel to compete in each match.  “We are pleased to work with the NSSA and the North Carolina State Shooting Association to bring these events to Spring Lake,” says John Meroski,  President and CEO , Fayetteville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (FACVB).  “The projected economic impact for the series of events is $46,600.”
