New Embassy Suites Promises to be Most Upscale Hotel in Fayetteville, NC

Fayetteville, NC – October 31, 2011 – Fayetteville/Cumberland County, North Carolina is known for its Southern hospitality, rich cultural heritage and proud military history. Soon, America’s Hometown will count the brand new Embassy Suites among its many attractive assets to residents, visitors and business travelers. The hotel is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2012.
The Embassy Suites Fayetteville/Fort Bragg will feature 165 rooms and suites on six floors. Conveniently located off the All American Freeway at Skibo Road, it’s just minutes from Fort Bragg; Fayetteville Regional Airport; Cross Creek Mall and other popular shopping areas; Crown Center; downtown Fayetteville; and major corporate offices including Goodyear and Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
The modern, full-service hotel will house 12,000 square feet of flexible meeting and banquet facilities. It is ideal for business conferences, seminars or social events. In addition to an array of amenities for the leisure traveler, it will feature many conveniences for the business traveler like in-room generous work surfaces and complimentary wired and wireless Internet, as well as a centrally located 24-hour business center.
Hotel guests will also enjoy full use of a wide range of top-of-the-line amenities. In-room amenities include brand new luxurious furnishings, Embassy Suites’ “Heavenly Suite Dreams” bed experience, 42-inch flat panel televisions, extra spacious rooms and suites, and room service. Other on-property amenities include complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast and evening Manager’s Reception, an indoor heated swimming pool and whirlpool/hot tub, state-of-the-art fitness center, fully-stocked gift shop, an atrium lounge for relaxing, and a casual full-service restaurant, the Flying Spoons.
Five Points Hospitality, Inc., will manage the property, which is owned by MBM Hospitality, LLC, of Fayetteville. The City of Fayetteville pulled out all the stops to make sure the ownership group chose this location for its newest property, including tax breaks, waived building permit fees and a low-interest loan. The City began pursuing the project two years ago in an attempt to secure a high-end hotel with adequate conference space to meet the growing demand due to an increased population at Fort Bragg from BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure).
