Web Portal Redesigned

New www.GoFayetteville.com links to Cumberland county Agencies

January 2012

Cumberland County – The redesigned web portal for greater Fayetteville, www.GoFayetteville.com, is positioned as a resource for locals, visitors, businesses and those considering relocating to access community website. The new design, developed and implemented by Biz Tools One,  reflects the Cumberland County brand.

Five main sections direct users: Visitor Info, Government, Area Chambers and Relocating.  “One goal for the redesigned site is inclusiveness: to ensure we represent all of Cumberland County,” says John Meroski, Fayetteville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (FACVB) President and CEO. “The new GoFayetteville.com is a one-stop-shop to find key agencies/resources in Cumberland County, which was the original intent of the site.”

In addition to directing users to sites for further research, www.GoFayetteville.com houses a feed of news from the Fayetteville Area PR Alliance (FAPRA). The FAPRA is a group of Fayetteville area PR professionals that meet quarterly for education and networking and post their press information to www.FayettevillePR.com.  “The FayettevillePR.com  website is evolving into a resource for press information from all market segments – tourism, military, health care, education, and others,” says Meroski.
