The owner of Casa Latina Restaurant noticed that Latin restaurants opened in Fayetteville/Cumberland County only to close not much later. So Patricia and Tyran Jamail George opened the Casa Latina Restaurant on 500 North Reilly Road, Suite 128 in June 2011.

To ensure the authenticity of the food, they hired the best Puerto Rican chef that they knew – Patricia’s mother, Lucy Vazquez. The recipes are all her mother’s and it is all traditional Puerto Rican dishes served in a casual setting. Lunch buffet is served Monday through Fridays from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. The Saturday menu features sandwiches and combination plates and all combination plates are served with yellow or white rice, beans, fried sweet or green plantains and a garden salad. One can also order traditional Puerto Rican appetizers such as empanadas, bacalaitos, and cod fritters.

The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, a large room for private parties, Puerto Rican music and the feel that you are eating in Puerto Rico.
