Located directly on business I-95, this four-building complex offers two buildings suited for a variety of sporting events:
The Crown Coliseum seats 11,200 and can host ice-hockey, arena football, high school, college and professional basketball games and tournaments, boxing and rodeos. The Crown Arena seats up to 5,000 and has hosted wrestling, basketball, cheerleading and soccer tournaments. Jordan Soccer Complex
Clay Target Center
![]() Archery and clay shooting range, the Clay Target Center has hosted a number of specialty tournaments, including the Armed Forces Skeet Championship and the U.S. Open Skeet Shooting Championship.
METHODIST UNIVERSITY
Monarch Field Methodist University campus is the home to the Monarch Soccer-Plex, the "Crown Jewel" of NCAA Division III — a soccer facility that is unrivaled in the country. The Monarch soccer offices are located on the touchline of our pristine Bermuda grass playing surface. The facility was built in 1989, giving the Methodist soccer program an exclusive facility to call "home." The two-story building houses home and visiting team locker rooms, referee changing facilities, an enclosed press box and public rest rooms.Monarch Stadium Is an 800-seat football stadium, lacrosse field and track and field facility on the campus of Methodist University. The football stadium, the home of the Monarchs since the program's infancy in 1989, has a two-story press box, and in 1999 added chair-back seating for 800 fans. ![]() With a playing surface that includes a Bermuda turf infield, few parks can rival Armstrong-Shelley Field. The dimensions are 320 down the lines, 365 in the alleys and 400 to centerfield. The facility includes spacious dugouts, three carpeted batting cages, an air-conditioned press box, concession stand, public restrooms, seating capacity for 700 and a practice infield beyond the right field fence.
