Nations Under God

Chinese. Italian. Thai. African. English. Native American. Columbian. German. American. Egyptian. Korean. Pakistani. Japanese. Russian. French. You get the idea. It’s the International Folk Festival held annually each late summer in Fayetteville.

Day One

It’s the longest smorgasbord of international food… pierogies, crepes, pasta, baklava, kraut, kielbasa, breads, taco, frijoles, arroz con pollo, paella, pizza, frittata, Shepard’s pie, tandoori, panaan, tahini, risotto, ravioli, penne pasta, stromboli, gyros, prawns, Chilean sea bass…. and so much more…

It’s palates with every color in the world … along with flashy costumes, ornate headdresses…

It’s dancing to the music… high stepping, slide stepping, slow stepping…a syncopated beat…

It’s just so much fun. The Parade of Nations. Languages and dialects from everywhere. Smiles stretching across town.

It’s the International Folk Festival - a motorcoach friendly, bounty of activity and a world of excitement spread throughout downtown Fayetteville. Bring your family!

Tonight, prop your feet up and sleep well.

Day Two

Still dancing this morning? After a hearty breakfast, it’s time to tap dance your way home.
