    Celebrate cultural diversity at the Arts Council's 39th International Folk Festival with Vanguard Partner Compare Foods, everybody's favorite trip around the world!

    Friday, Sept. 28
    4th Friday, Downtown Fayetteville
    Arts Council building (301 Hay St.), 7 to 9 p.m.

    Bon Temps Ball
    Ray Ave and Hay St. Intersection, 7 to 9 p.m.

    The energy begins with a Bon Temps Ball (Ray Ave and Hay St. Intersection). In addition to the Bon Temps Ball, folks of all ages get a taste of Fayetteville’s arts and cultural offerings throughout downtown, from artist performances to cultural food at local establishments. Inside the building, celebrate the works of contemporary American Indian artists in North Carolina and beyond. 

    Saturday, Sept. 29
    Parade of Nations, Hay Street, 10:30 am
    See all the pageantry and customs of our diverse community during the Parade of Nations

    Festival Park, Noon to 8 p.m.
    Live performances on multiple stages, authentic cuisine at the International Café, unique arts and crafts vendors, children’s area, American Indian Cultural Showcase. Special evening performance by Williamsburg Salsa Orchestra.

    Sunday, Sept. 30
    Festival Park, Noon to 6 p.m.
    The fun continues with live performances on multiple stages, authentic cuisine at the International Café, unique arts and crafts vendors, children’s area, American Indian Cultural Showcase.
