5th Annual HBCU College Fair

  • Overview

    Beta Chi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. will host the 5th Annual Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) College Fair in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

    There will be representatives from North Carolina HBCUs, including Fayetteville State University, North Carolina Central University, and North Carolina A&T just to name a few. There will also be several from out of state, such as Grambling State University, South Carolina State, and Tuskegee University.

    The military services, Job Corp, fire department, police department, sheriff's department, Federal Bureau of Investigations, and others will be recruiting and sharing their opportunities. There will be several non-profit organizations, including fraternities and sororities, presenting their scholarship opportunities and how to apply for them. In addition, there will be seminars on subjects such as how to apply for financial aid, transitioning from High School to college, and a Panel discussion with current college students.

    The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People will be registering voters.

    There will be door prizes for attendees. Students who attend will be eligible to receive credit for community service hours.
