“Discovery and Recovery: Preserving Iraqi Jewish Heritage" opens at the U.S. Army Airborne & Special Operations Museum on July 11th at 6 pm

This exhibit details the dramatic recovery of historic materials relating to the Jewish community in Iraq from a flooded basement in Saddam Hussein’s intelligence headquarters, and the National Archives’ ongoing work in support of U.S. Government efforts to preserve these materials.

The exhibit is on loan from the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and the National Archives Trust Fund Board.

The exhibit is open during regular museum hours: Tuesday - Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm and Sunday from 12 pm to 5 pm
