Overview

One of the greatest keys to becoming a successful fly angler is knowing how to select a fly that most accurately resembles available food sources for the fish you are targeting or "Matching the Hatch". Join the staff of the Pechmann Fishing Education Center for this introductory aquatic entomology program. Topics include basic insect morphology, aquatic adaptations, collection techniques, specimen identification, the life history of the aquatic insects, and the fly patterns that imitate them.

This class will be conducted using Microsoft Teams. Registered participants will receive a link prior to the start of the class which will enable them to join.
