The John E. Norman Cinco de Mayo event is Fayetteville’s best-kept-secret road race. Every year, over 400 runners take part in this signature event and battle for cash prizes. The Cinco de Mayo family also likes to bring climbing walls for kids, a face painter and color station, and traditional folk dancing. They also remember the race founder, Julio Ramirez, and keep his spirit alive. For more information on this race, visit the event site at the link above.
