The John E. Norman Cinco de Mayo event is Fayetteville’s best-kept-secret road race. Every year, over 400 runners take part in this signature event and battle for cash prizes. This year, they we will hold a costume contest, and anyone can participate. They also have traditional dancers coming to perform for the crowd. Everyone enjoys the climbing walls, face-painting, balloon animals, selfie station, and color station. This event also serves to help people remember Julio Ramirez, the race founder, and keep his spirit alive. For more information on this race, visit the event page at the website link above.
