Martin Luther King, Jr. Park

  • Overview

Cumberland County has a bounty of local parks boasting amenities including walking trails, playgrounds, nature centers, sports fields and courts and picnic pavilions. We are sure to have the perfect park for your sporting needs.

Other fun outdoor options are our biking trails and watering holes perfect for fishing, swimming and skipping stones. We also have a water park that dominates its six-acre man-made lake and provides the setting for a day filled with sand, sun and making memories.

Enjoy a picnic pavilion and open space as the beginnings for the 13 acres of land commemorating the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. An impressive sculpture of Dr. King reigns high over the park. Plans include a fountain, lighted spire, gardens, and walking trail.
