    Family Owned and Operated Since 1985 Paradise Acres was established in 1985 by M. J. Taylor and his wife Judy. After his passing in 1997, his son Shane continued to work hard, serving the residents of Cumberland County and surrounding areas. Today, Shane along with his family, continue the dream of his father to offer guests a private park with a family atmosphere where they can relax and let the Taylor family take care of them. Paradise Acres is a 14-acre private park filled with several different activities to entertain all age groups: Your rental includes a Playground for children, BINGO, softball field, Beach Volleyball, basketball court, horseshoe pitching and a walking path. The Pavilion at Paradise Acres is 10,000 square feet. Your rental includes tables and chairs, a P. A. system and clean up is included. This location is perfect for Corporate Events, Military Functions, Church Gatherings, Wedding Receptions, Reunions and Holiday Parties. Along with the serene atmosphere, our guests are served delicious home-cooked food. Some of our specialties include our ever-popular Pulled Pork BBQ, Southern Fried Chicken, BBQ Beef Brisket, Fried Fish, Pit Cooked Ham, Turkey Breast, Tender Roast Beef, BBQ Chicken and Fried or Boiled Shrimp. We also have great side dishes and yummy desserts. With our bountiful buffets, you'll never leave hungry! Can't come to us? We'll go to you! Our in-house caterers have fully equipped vans to travel to your location to feed your hungry crowd of 50 or more. For an additional fee, Paradise Acres also offers an inflatable Castle Bounce and Super Slide, a Train Ride.
