Visitor's Center @ Fayetteville Area Transportation and Local History Museum

  • Overview

We are a full-service convention and visitors bureau. The Bureau is a private, not-for-profit organization funded by a sales occupancy tax. We assist leisure travelers, meeting planners, group tour operators, media and military reunion planners. Our staff serves as a liaison between visitors and our local hospitality industry. What you will find in our Visitor Centers: Fayetteville Destination Guide, Hope Mills Visitor Guide, and the Spring Lake Visitor Guide. Local attraction brochures, passport to local attractions, maps of Cumberland County and relocation information. Also each Visitor Center offers Fayetteville memorabilia items such as: t-shirts, ball caps, postcards, city stickers, magnets and locally made food items. This location also offers a weekly Farmers Market each Saturday from 9:00am-1:00pm. (April - October) We operate two Visitor Information Centers. Both are minutes from I-95.
